2. Scope of processing personal data
When you visit our website, the browser on your device automatically sends certain kinds of information to the servers our website is hosted on. There, this information is temporarily stored in a so-called log file. Without your intervention the following data is collected and stored until it will be automatically erased or permanently blocked as soon as the purpose for which it was stored no longer applies:

  • IP address of the device requesting access to our website,
  • date and time of access,
  • name and URL of the file or files accessed,
  • website from which access is made (a so called “referrer URL”),
  • the specific browser used to access our website and, if applicable, the operating system of your device as well as the name of your access provider.

We will process this data in order to

  • ensure a good connection setup of our website,
  • ensure smooth and easy access to our website and its contents,
  • evaluate overall system security and stability,
  • for other administrative purposes.

In general, temporary processing of such data is necessary in order to make a visit to our website technically and for the website to be transmitted to your device. The access data is not used to identify individual users.

3. Legal basis for processing personal data
The legal basis for data processing is stipulated in Article 6 (1) lit. f GDPR. Our legitimate interest for data processing stems from the purposes listed above under paragraph 2, as we want to ensure the functionality and the integrity and security of our website. The access data will be deleted as soon as it is no longer required for its processing. This is usually the case when you end your visit to the website. Generally, the data is deleted within seven days after your visit.

If you have any questions, please contact us via e-mail (info@strategic-industries.com) or telephone (+49 172 2361302). In this case, we will process your personal data transmitted to us pursuant to Article 6 (1) lit. b GDPR or Article 6 (1) lit. f GDPR. Our legitimate interest here is to answer your questions in the best way possible.

4. Data transmission
We will not transmit your personal data to third parties, unless

  • you have given us your express consent according to Article 6 (1) lit. a GDPR,
  • such transmission becomes necessary in order to assert, exercise or defend legal claims and unless there is no reason to assume that you have an overriding interest worthy of protection in not transmitting your data (Article 6 (1) lit. f GDPR),
  • we are required by law or court order to perform such a transmission (Article 6 (1) lit. c GDPR),
  • such a transfer is permitted by law and necessary for the performance of a contract with you (Article 6 (1) lit. b GDPR).

5. Cookies
Our website only uses cookies that are technically necessary.

Cookies are files that your browser automatically creates upon visiting our website and that are then stored on your device. The purpose of cookies is to help our website remember information about your visit, which can both make it easier to visit our website again and make our website more useful to you. Most browsers offer you the option of deleting cookies stored on your device, so you can choose if you keep them or not.

6. Your rights
You have the right to obtain confirmation from us as to whether or not we process your personal data. If we do, you have the right to demand information about how we process your personal data at any time (Article 14 GDPR). If data stored by us is incorrect or no longer up to date, you have the right to have this data corrected (Article 16 GDPR), erased (Article 17 GDPR), or demand that its processing be restricted (Article 18 GDPR).

You have the right to receive your personal data, as far as you have provided it to us, in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, and you have the right to transfer those data in accordance with Article 20 GDPR.

If we process your personal data on the basis of your consent according to Article 6 (1) lit. a) GDPR, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. As a result, we will no longer be allowed to continue processing your personal data based on this consent in the future (Article 7 (3) GDPR), unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for further processing which override your interests or rights, e.g. our interest to defend against legal claims.

If we process your personal data in pursuance of legitimate interests within the meaning of Article 6 (1) lit. f) GDPR, you have the right, for reasons arising from your particular situation, to object (Article 21 GDPR) to further processing. In this case, we ask you to demonstrate such reasons, however, this will not be necessary if your objection is directed against activities of direct marketing.

To exercise these rights or if you have any questions or complaints about data protection, we ask you to contact us via e-mail (info@strategic-industries.com) or telephone (+49 172 2361302) for immediate help.

If you think that the processing of your personal data infringes the GDPR and if there is nothing we can help you with, or if you decide you do not need to contact us, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the EU Member State of your habitual residence, place of work or place of the alleged infringement.
